How to use Gradient Maker
- Choose the first and second gradient colors using the HEX fields or color pickers.
- Adjust the angle from 0 to 360 degrees and review the live preview.
- Copy the CSS for a web project, or download the gradient as a 1600 × 900 PNG.
A quiet background for a bold headline
Try two neighboring cool colors with a gentle transition. Place your headline on top in the actual design, then verify its contrast across every area it covers. A good-looking empty gradient may still be a poor text background.
Design for the content
A gradient should support the message and hierarchy. If every edge is bright and saturated, the call to action may become hard to find. Reserve your strongest accent for the element you want people to notice first.
Preview at different shapes
The same gradient can feel different in a tall mobile card and a wide desktop banner. Check both layouts after adding the CSS. Position and line wrapping may move text into a lighter or darker part of the background.
Good to know
Is a gradient automatically accessible?
No. Contrast depends on the foreground and the background underneath it. Check the least favorable color behind the text, or add a solid text panel.
Can I download the gradient as an image?
Yes. Download PNG creates a 1600 × 900 image. You can also copy the CSS background. Use Screenshot Studio to frame an existing image on a preset gradient.
